  • Love Lust Lost is an interactive and immersive indoor theatre experience, created by Broad Encounters Productions. The story and action unfolds around you, and you are invited to let your curiosity lead the way as you uncover the mysteries and secrets of the world and its inhabitants.

    The show features adult concepts, uneven floors, small and large spaces, low-level lighting and thrilling sights and encounters. Travellers will be on their feet throughout the 75-90 minute adventure and flat shoes and comfortable clothing is recommended. Should you feel the need to rest during your journey, please alert one of the crew and they will assist. 

    Please note, in accordance with the Captain’s directives, you will be required to don a light uniform covering, provided on arrival, before embarking. 

    Photography or filming is not permitted anywhere except for the onsite bar, unless otherwise arranged in advance with The Captains first mate.

    You are welcome to stay with your companions during your adventure, but if you’re lucky you may be invited to explore a realm on your own. To get the most out of the performance we recommend you make the most of these opportunities, although it will always be your choice.

  • Your performance start time is the ticket type that you selected at booking. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to this start time. For instance, if you booked an 8pm session, please arrive at the venue at 7:30pm. 

    Please arrive as unencumbered as possible, as space is limited on your journey. You will need to cloak/store any bags prior to embarkation.

    Storing items in the cloakroom costs $1 per small item/coat, and $5 for any items larger than a A3 sheet of paper.

    Our bespoke bar offers drinks and small snacks prior to your adventure.

  • This production is suitable for ages 15+. There will be no admittance to anyone who, if asked, cannot provide photographic ID proving that they are over 15 years.

    Guests aged 15 - 17 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

    The performance involves adult themes, nudity, coarse language, alcohol use, simulated drug use, strobe and haze effects. 

  • Love Lust Lost is set across three floors in a historic building. Unfortunately due to the age of the building, not all areas of the building are fully accessible. However, the production is able to be experienced from multiple vantages. If you have accessibility requirements please contact us, and we will provide further advice specific to your requirements.

    If you suffer from claustrophobia please note that the production contains small spaces. It is possible to attend the show and avoid these spaces.

    There is limited parking available on site for those with accessibility needs. Please contact us at hello@broadencounters.com for more information and to arrange access.

  • Do dress appropriately – you may choose to venture into spaces that involve clambering, wriggling, even crawling. You will be moving through the building so please make sure your shoes are comfortable.

    You are asked to wear flat shoes. Heels are not suitable attire for the E.V. Nautilus.

  • This is a cash free experience. We accept all major cards for payment. Cash may be accepted by our crew on site, but please note that change may not be available.

  • Neither photography nor filming is permitted during the performance, unless authorised in advance by The Captains first mate. You are welcome to take pictures in the bespoke bar.

  • Love Lust Lost takes place at The Austral, 200-202 Johnston St, Collingwood VIC 3066.

    Train:
    The closest train station is Victoria Park, via the Mernda or Hurstbridge line.

    Bus:
    A multitude of buses stop nearby, including:

    - 207 and 200 to Hoddle St/Johnston St and Palmer St/Johnston St

    - 246, 302, 303, 304, 305, 309, 318, 350, 905, 906, 907 and 908 to Johnston St/Hoddle St

    Tram:
    Arrive by tram by taking route 86 (Bundoora RMIT - Waterfront City Docklands), getting off at stop number 19, Johnston St/Smith St.

    Rideshare:
    Please direct your rideshare to The Austral, 200-202 Johnston St Collingwood, or search Love Lust Lost when selecting your location.

    Parking:
    Limited on street parking is available on Johnston St.

    We recommend parking with Secure Park at 144 Oxford St, Collingwood VIC 3066.

  • You may be invited to consume food and drink products during your journey.

    Consumption is at your own risk.

    Our bespoke onsite bar provides delicious drinks and small snacks to ready yourself for your journey.

  • Love Lust Lost is suitable to be experienced by pregnant people. However, we are unable to accommodate parents with babies.

  • Your visit to Love Lust Lost will run between 75-90 minutes in length.

  • Love Lust Lost contains 40 rooms across a vast abandoned theatre. Some of these rooms are small, dark, and contain props and themes that some audience members may consider frightening. As a choose-your-own theatrical adventure experience, it is possible to avoid a room altogether if something makes you uncomfortable, and you can leave a room, or the whole show, at any time. Love Lust Lost is not a horror experience, and there are no jump scares or gore.
